Trauma & PTSD

Trauma can leave lasting effects long after the event has passed. You may find yourself feeling constantly on edge, avoiding certain places or situations, experiencing intrusive memories, struggling to trust others, or reacting in ways that don't seem to make sense. Sometimes trauma is linked to a single event, while other times it develops from repeated experiences that have shaped the way you view yourself, others, and the world.

Healing from trauma is possible, and you don't have to face it alone. In therapy, we'll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable while working to understand how your experiences continue to affect your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life. Together, we'll build effective coping skills, process painful experiences when you're ready, and help your nervous system begin to feel more regulated and secure.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the healing process. While trauma may be part of your story, it does not have to define your future. With the right support, it is possible to reconnect with yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.
